The fan utilizes a bevel gear so the blades are in front, making it a more comfortable angle to hold the fan for the user. There are ridges on the inside to hold the DC motor, button, and battery parts.
The cap of the fan protects the blades and mechanism when you are carrying it around in your bag. The blades can fold down to allow the cap to go on, and will automatically open up when you start the fan. The button is placed where the thumb rests on top of the ridge. The angled ridge provides a nice resting place for the rest of the fingers as well. The user can also place the fan on a flat surface when they don’t want to hold it.
