GROW
A time-based work for the Gordon Hotel's Great wall, made with Adobe After Effects.
I wanted to make a video that creates a calm and comforting space using colors and shapes inspired by wabi sabi and other Japanese concepts. I utilized slow motion and slightly more muted colors, and a papery-look to achieve this. Rather than having the imagery stand out, I want it to blend in with the environment and its atmosphere.
The Deep Blue (Game Design)
Many moons ago, an apocalypse caused the land to become barren. The surviving ones strove to stay alive, but the land eventually became inhabitable. One young traveler ventured out to find an escape.

Faun's Diary (Coded Interactive Art)
Created with processing, my project utilizes arrays to create a diary of a kid named "Faun" and his rabbit friend "Jack". The project displays a random combination of backgrounds of different seasons/times, and Faun and Jack doing different things.
The pages turn by clicking on the "next" and "back" arrows, and the date increases/decreases by going back and forth by turning the pages. There is an ant running across the screen to make it seem like the book is actually at Faun's house (where there is a lot of nature, hence a lot of ants). It also makes the book and pages look like a physical object rather than a digital book.
This project is an homage to the cartoon series "Adventure Time". I have included quotes from the show, making it look like Faun wrote things he or others said in his diary. Certain combinations of the images and quotes sometimes make a comical image. I wanted to showcase a snapshot of Faun and Jack's everyday life, which is often repetitive even though the environment changes as time goes on, just like real life.
Below is a screen recorded video showcasing how you can interact with the page.
